How Nova Era Agency LLC collects, uses, and protects Prora account data, connected store information, and sales records.
Last updated August 5, 2026
Overview
Nova Era Agency LLC ("Nova Era," "we," "us") operates Prora, ecommerce operations software for inventory, sales, pricing, accounting visibility, and related tools. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use our website, application, APIs, and related services (collectively, the "Services"), how we use it, and the choices you have.
By creating an account, connecting a store or marketplace, or using the Services, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
When you connect third-party platforms (for example Shopify, Amazon, or eBay), you authorize Prora to access store, catalog, inventory, order, and related business data from those platforms so we can provide the Services to your organization.
Who this policy covers
This policy covers personal information and business data we process about: (1) users who create Prora accounts; (2) people whose information appears in connected store or marketplace data (such as customers and buyers on your channels); and (3) visitors to our marketing website.
For Customer Data you submit or connect (including store and sales data), you are typically the business that decides why the data is processed. Nova Era Agency LLC processes that data on your behalf through Prora to provide the Services. You are responsible for having a lawful basis and any notices or consents required before connecting a platform or uploading data that includes personal information about your customers or team.
Information we collect
Account and workspace information: name, email address, phone number (if provided), company or store name, role, authentication credentials, workspace membership, and settings you configure in Prora.
Connected commerce and marketplace data: when you authorize an integration, we may access and store information from that platform as needed to operate Prora. Depending on the channel and permissions you grant, this can include store identity and settings; product catalog and variants; inventory levels and locations; orders, refunds, fulfillments, and line items; pricing and fee-related fields; customer or buyer contact details associated with orders; and sync or connection status.
Files and records you upload: spreadsheets, CSVs, images, invoices, or other files you import for catalog, inventory, vendors, accounting, or support.
Operational and financial context you enter in Prora: unit costs, cash budgets, vendor bills, channel fee settings, pricing targets, and similar business records.
Usage and technical information: log data, device and browser type, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, pages viewed, feature usage, and diagnostic events used for security, reliability, and product improvement.
Communications: messages you send to us (support, demos, feedback) and our responses.
Credentials and tokens: OAuth access tokens, refresh tokens, and related connection metadata needed to sync authorized platforms. We store these using access controls and encryption practices appropriate to secrets; we do not use them to access your platforms beyond the scopes you approve and the purposes described here.
Connected stores and marketplaces
Prora connects to platforms you choose through official OAuth or similar authorization flows. We only request the permissions needed to deliver the features you use (for example reading products, orders, and inventory, and updating inventory where you enable that capability).
Examples of platforms that may be connected over time include Shopify, Amazon, eBay, and other commerce, marketplace, POS, or accounting systems we list in the product. Availability depends on configuration and your workspace permissions.
We process connected store and sales data to sync catalogs; calculate inventory, velocity, and reorder recommendations; show sales and channel performance; support pricing and margin analysis; power management reports; and answer in-product questions through Prora's assistant using your workspace data.
We do not sell your store data, customer lists, or order history. We do not use connected Customer Data to advertise to your end customers. Workspace data remains isolated from other Prora customers.
If a platform notifies us that a seller account was closed or that marketplace account deletion is required (for example eBay marketplace account deletion notifications), we will delete or de-identify related connection credentials and associated stored data as required by that platform's rules and applicable law.
How we use information
We use collected information to operate, secure, and improve the Services; authenticate users; sync and refresh connected data sources; generate dashboards, reports, alerts, and AI-assisted insights inside your workspace; provide customer support; send service-related notices (including security and connection issues); prevent fraud and abuse; and comply with legal obligations.
AI features in Prora may process prompts and relevant workspace context (such as catalog, sales, inventory, or accounting summaries) to generate responses for authorized users of that workspace. Those features are intended for your internal business use. Do not submit secrets or credentials into chat that are not needed for the task.
We may use aggregated or de-identified data that does not identify you or your customers to understand product usage and improve features. We do not sell personal information.
International transfers
We may process and store information in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. If you access the Services from outside those locations, you understand that your information may be transferred to jurisdictions with different data-protection laws. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
Data retention
We retain account and workspace data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. Connected platform data is retained while the integration remains connected and afterward as needed for continuity, audits, dispute resolution, backups, or legal requirements.
You may disconnect an integration in Settings, which stops further sync from that platform. You may also erase store data or delete your account where those controls are available in the product, or request deletion by contacting us.
Some information may be retained in backups or logs for a limited period, or where we must keep it for legal, security, or accounting purposes.
Security
We implement administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect your data, including encryption in transit, access controls, secret handling for integration tokens, and workspace isolation. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Use strong passwords, limit workspace invitations to trusted teammates, and disconnect integrations you no longer need.
Your choices and rights
You may update account details in Settings, manage workspace members, disconnect integrations, control which platforms share data with Prora, and use in-product tools to erase store data or delete your account where available.
If you are an end customer of a Prora merchant and want to exercise privacy rights over order or contact data that came from a store connection, contact that merchant first. We process that data as their service provider. We can assist the merchant with deletion or access requests when they ask us to.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict certain personal data, or to object to certain processing. Contact hello@prora.ai to exercise these rights. We may need to verify your request and will respond as required by applicable law.
Children
The Services are not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may be communicated by email or in-app notice.
